Production Planner (East, Manufacturing)

Job description

Develop production scheduling approaches to align manufacturing output with demand, capacity and operational targets.
Establish monthly production and WIP plans to maintain appropriate inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products.
Assess equipment and process capacity through time studies, material-flow analysis and evaluation of product/process characteristics.
Identify opportunities to improve production flow, capacity utilisation, yield and cycle-time performance.
Coordinate production plans for ingot growth and inter-site deliveries, adjusting schedules based on product mix, capacity and changing customer requirements.
Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing logistics, production planning and material-flow processes.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, product costing and capacity planning.
Strong PC skills - Microsoft Excel and VBA, with knowledge of C++ and the ability to lead or coordinate teams.
