Facilities Engineer (PLC/Control Systems)

Job description

Maintain and optimise facility control systems to support reliable operation and high equipment uptime within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Diagnose control-system faults and abnormal conditions, implementing effective technical solutions to restore system performance.
Support automation and facility improvement projects, including system upgrades, modifications and new installations.
Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to strengthen reliability, efficiency and preventive maintenance practices.
Coordinate external contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements:

Degree in Electrical, Control Engineering or a related discipline
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Siemens and/or Mitsubishi PLC systems , including troubleshooting, maintenance, field instruments and control devices; ELV and electrical systems knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and project coordination skills, with experience working with contractors/vendors and adherence to workplace safety requirements.
