Service Engineer & Radio Surveyor

Job description

*Location: Singapore Office*

*1. SERVICE ENGINEER*

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

- Installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of marine navigation and communication equipment.

- Attend vessel calls and service jobs locally and overseas.

- Prepare service reports and liaise with clients.

- Support radio surveys and other class/flag related services.

*REQUIREMENTS:*

- Marine Electronics / Electrical Engineering Degree.

- Relevant experience in marine navigation and communication equipment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willing to travel for vessel attendance (local and overseas).

- Good communication skills in English.

*2. RADIO SURVEYOR*

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

- Conduct GMDSS radio surveys, VDR APT, SSAS, EPIRB, SART, MF/HF, VHF, AIS and other navigational equipment surveys.

- Prepare and issue survey reports and certificates in accordance with IMO, flag and class requirements.

- Liaise with shipowners, managers and class surveyors.

- Provide technical advice and support to clients.

*REQUIREMENTS:*

- STCW GMDSS Radio Surveyor Certificate (essential).

- Experience in conducting radio surveys on merchant vessels.

- Good knowledge of IMO/Flag/Class GMDSS requirements.

- Strong report writing and communication skills.

- Willing to travel for vessel attendance (local and overseas).
