Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care in an Orthopaedic Specialist Clinic. You will collaborate with surgeons and clinical teams to manage musculoskeletal and post-operative patient care, assist in procedures, and coordinate clinic operations.
Responsibilities
Deliver safe and efficient nursing care to patients with musculoskeletal, sports injury, joint, spine, trauma, and post-operative conditions in an outpatient setting
Assist Orthopaedic Surgeons during consultations and medical procedures to ensure patient safety and procedural success
Perform wound management and monitor healing progress to support patient recovery
Educate patients on care plans, post-operative instructions, and injury prevention to enhance treatment outcomes
Coordinate pre- and post-operative care activities to facilitate smooth patient transitions and clinic workflow
Apply infection-control and aseptic techniques consistently to maintain a safe clinical environment
Use electronic medical record systems to document patient information accurately and support clinical decision-making
Collaborate effectively with doctors and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care
Maintain responsibility, organization, and attention to detail in daily clinical operations
Exhibit professionalism and patient-oriented communication to foster a supportive care environment
Required competencies and certifications
Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) holding a valid practising certificate
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in wound care and post-operative patient management
Proficient clinical assessment and communication skills to evaluate patient conditions and convey information clearly
Knowledge of infection-control and aseptic techniques to prevent healthcare-associated infections
Basic computer literacy for effective use of electronic medical records
