Job description
We are seeking a motivated System Integrator / Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing and deployment of complex systems and solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, engineering teams, technology vendors, contractors and other project stakeholders to integrate multiple systems and technologies into a cohesive end-to-end solution.
The role involves systems engineering, interface management, integration testing, troubleshooting, technical coordination and supporting projects from the design and implementation stages through testing, commissioning and operational handover.
Key Responsibilities Systems Integration & Engineering
Support the development and implementation of system integration strategies and plans.
Develop and maintain system integration architectures, integration plans and technical documentation.
Coordinate integration activities involving multiple systems, technologies, vendors and stakeholders.
Identify technical dependencies, integration risks and system constraints.
Investigate and troubleshoot system integration and interoperability issues.
Support technical resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
Interface Management
Manage physical, functional, data and operational interfaces between systems.
Develop and maintain interface registers, interface matrices and interface management documentation.
Review system requirements, technical specifications and interface requirements for consistency and completeness.
Coordinate interface requirements between customers, suppliers, contractors and engineering teams.
Support interface governance, configuration control and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing, Verification & Commissioning
Plan, coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and end-to-end system testing.
Develop test scenarios, test procedures and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate testing activities with system owners, vendors and project stakeholders.
Perform troubleshooting and analysis of defects and integration issues identified during testing.
Maintain traceability between system requirements, interfaces, test activities and acceptance criteria.
Support system commissioning, final acceptance and operational handover.
Technical & Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with customers, project managers, engineers, vendors and contractors on technical and integration matters.
Participate in technical workshops, design reviews, project meetings and integration discussions.
Communicate technical issues, risks and proposed solutions clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, test records and integration status updates.
Support project teams in achieving technical, schedule and operational objectives.
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related engineering/technology discipline.
1–3 years of relevant working experience in systems integration, systems engineering, testing and commissioning, solution implementation or a related engineering environment.
Good understanding of system integration, interfaces, interoperability and systems engineering principles.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to analyse technical requirements and translate them into integration and testing activities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, customers, contractors and multiple technology vendors.
Ability to manage technical issues and coordinate activities across different stakeholders.
